How Far in Advance Should You Book a Chauffeur?

By Noble Ball · Updated

Request a chauffeur as soon as your plans are set. A few days ahead is a comfortable minimum for a simple transfer; weddings, large groups, early-morning flights and busy travel periods are worth booking weeks ahead.

Why earlier is easier

Every chauffeur ride is arranged in advance: the request is reviewed, a quote is sent, and the vehicle and rate are confirmed before the ride. The more time there is before the trip, the more room there is to confirm the vehicle category you want and to adjust details.

Typical lead times

For a simple one-way transfer, sending the request a few days ahead gives time to receive and accept the quote calmly. For an early-morning or late-night flight, book as soon as you have your flight time.

For weddings, galas, conferences and group outings that need a Business Van or a Luxury Bus, booking several weeks ahead is sensible, because larger vehicles and busy dates are in higher demand. The same applies to holiday weekends and major local events.

What to have ready

Before you start, have the pickup address, the destination or the number of hours, the date and the local time at the pickup, the number of passengers and bags, and, for airport rides, your flight number. Options such as child seats or a pet can be added on the first step.

If your plans change

Send your request when plans are firm enough to give a date, a time and an itinerary. If something changes after you send it, keep your reference handy and call +1 (561) 695-1185 so the change can be reviewed before the ride.
