Chauffeur travel guides
Practical answers for planning a private chauffeur ride in the United States, from airport transfers to hourly hire and group travel.
How to Book a Chauffeur Airport Transfer
Enter the pickup and drop-off addresses, the date and local time, your passengers and bags, and add your flight number in the options. Choose a vehicle category with room for your group, add your contact details and request a quote. Nothing is booked or paid until the rate is confirmed.
Hourly Chauffeur Hire: How It Works
With hourly hire, one chauffeur stays at your disposal for the duration you choose, from 2 to 12 hours. You enter a pickup address, a date and a start time instead of a destination, and plan the day as it goes.
Sedan, SUV, Van or Sprinter: Choosing a Vehicle
Count passengers and bags first, then pick the category that fits both: a sedan for up to 3 passengers and 3 bags, an SUV for up to 5, a van for up to 7 and a Sprinter for up to 16. The request form hides categories that are too small.
Planning a Multi-Stop or Round Trip Ride
A one-way ride can include up to four stops between the pickup and the destination, planned as one itinerary with one chauffeur. A round trip adds a return date and time in the same request; for open-ended days, hourly hire is often simpler.
Traveling with Children, Pets or Extra Bags
Request up to three child seats and mark that you travel with a pet in the ride options, count every bag so the form offers a vehicle with room for it, and add anything else, such as stroller or accessibility needs, in the preferences.
Private Chauffeur vs Rideshare: Key Differences
A private chauffeur ride is arranged in advance from a detailed request, with the vehicle category, stops and timing agreed and a quote confirmed before the ride. On-demand rideshare is requested for right now from an app. Which one fits depends on the trip.
